Feels Good Creative works and plays on the land currently known as Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada was established as part of Treaty #2, the McKee Purchase Treaty of 1790. At that time the land was also inhabited by the Three Fires Confederacy: the Ojibway (Chippewas), Odawa, and Potawatomi. Local Indigenous Nations, known as the Anishinaabeg and Lunaapeew, agreed to the mutual sharing of the land, with obligation and responsibilities to the environment. Today these responsibilities and obligations extend to all Peoples.
I recognize the land I occupy is stolen land and support the rightful return for Indigenous sovereignty over our land.
